johnNYdesign was founded in 2003 to introduce a brand new collection of design ideas. Our primary focus is furniture that explores contemporary ideas through quality materials and craftsmanship. We will continue to offer new products regularly.
			John Bertola has found many different uses for his architecture degree: architect, housing bureaucrat, contractor, production designer, and store designer. But over the past several years he has been drawn to the design freedom that furniture making offers. After serving two years as General Manager for a Brooklyn manufacturer of contemporary office furniture, he started johnNYdesign to explore his own ideas. "I have a shelf full of design notebooks," says John, "and it's time to bring these designs to life. Success, for me, will be finding other people who enjoy these ideas and objects as much as I do."
